Jorge has 20 years of honorable military service
many of them under the linguist capacity. Working side by side with
civilian law enforcement, he has dedicated the later part of his career
to the interpretation of the Spanish language to enforce officer safety
and case analysis. Some of Jorge’s accomplishments include a
Bachelors in
modern languages with emphasis in Spanish, and masters in
Education, Adult Education and Training @ CSU. Jorge also has
been recognized with several military and civilian community awards.
Jorge takes pride in his involvement with community programs such as the
Rocky Mountain HIDTA Law Enforcement Officer Spanish Survival training
were he has developed along with his partners three levels training for
the law enforcement community. Jorge is a court certified interpreter,
and Spanish is his native language. Jorge specializes in Spanish slang
and border Calo. He has been an original member of the Colorado
Drug Investigators Association since its beginnings. Jorge is currently
assigned as part of an investigative Front Range task force team. |
